Are you passionate about teaching both math and social justice issues? The sponsors of Creating Balance in an Unjust World, a conference "on Math Education and Social Justice" is seeking proposals from educators and community activists who want to facilitate workshops, interest group gatherings or presentations focused on the intersection of math and social justice. (The conference is October 22-24, 2010, at Long Island University, in Brooklyn, New York.)Proposal summaries are due June 30, 2010.
