Are your high school students passionate about putting a stop to plastic pollution in our beaches, watersheds and oceans? Encourage them to submit their solutions to the Plastics Are Forever website for a chance to win a trip to the Plastics Are Forever International Youth Summit, March 11-13, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. 100 students and teachers will win their way to a weekend of fun and learning, and a chance to make a positive difference in helping solve the plastics problem. To be eligible, students must:
1. Be between ages 14-18.
2. Form a team of 1-3 students, plus a teacher/parent/mentor to accompany the team.
3. Submit an idea for "how to reduce plastic pollution in your community, watershed, and/or the ocean.
4. Be willing to "work hard, have fun, and make a difference in your community."
