The staff at Sandy Hook, and Gabby Gifford should be invited. Seems we are the product of a society that teaches violence, then wonders why it manifests against us.
For thousands of years, humans have behaved violently since the advent of the herding mentality. It's engrained like saturated fat in our DNA. How will we change manistream unless we engage leaders in politics, education and religion that we must explore the roots of the dominion manifestation, speciesism, unless we infuse the message into their realm??

Laura, thanks so much for your comment. Our goal is to infuse the lens and philosophy of humane education in everything, everywhere, so that no matter what career people pursue, where they live, etc., they have been raised with the knowledge, tools & motivation to be conscientious citizens and engaged changemakers who strive to do the most good & least harm to all people, animals, and the earth. This conference is just one more tool to help build that future.

Peace,

Marsha
